Some of our clients are a little nervous when they come in for their photoshoot, because they have never done any modeling before, let alone something as intimate as a boudoir photo shoot.
We always tell our clients not to worry, because we are here to help you every step of the way. The first step that happens before your photoshoot is a consultation with your photographer. This is a key step because it allows you to share with your photographer what you are looking for in your photoshoot.
As well as giving you a chance to ask any questions that you might have such as wardrobe or hair and makeup. Your photographer will be happy to answer any questions you have, but here are a few “pro tips” for our first time models.
On the way to your photoshoot, wear loose clothes and bring your photoshoot outfits to change into. Wearing loose clothes beforehand can help you to avoid unwanted panty lines or marks left by tight clothing.
If you are waxing before your photoshoot, try to do it two or three days beforehand, not the day of. If it is your first time waxing, do a trial wax ahead of time to see how your skin reacts. We don’t want any unnecessary redness or skin irritation in your portraits.
Lastly, just be yourself during your photoshoot! This is about celebrating you and your body, so just be confident in who you are, and above all, remember to have fun!
